This is Coach Bell’s second year leading The Lady Mustangs and his 9th year of teaching and coaching. He will be teaching U.S History and AP Human Geography this year. Bell is a proud graduate of Azle High School in Azle Texas, where he was a three-sport athlete and an editor for the school newspaper. He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University in 2015 with a B.A. in History. He holds a United Soccer Federation National B License, National Goalkeeper Level 3 Diploma, and a United Soccer Coaches National Diploma. Coach Bell started his high school coaching career at Huffman Hargrave High School in the 2016-2017 season, coaching football and creating the girls’ soccer program there. In three years at Huffman, Bell posted a record of 57-18-4, winning coach of the year honors twice, and posting a 6-3 playoff record and a trip to the 4A Region 3 Final. Coach Bell then went on to be the Head Coach at Beaumont West Brook from 2019-2020. In that lone season, the Bruins posted one of its best seasons in recent memory, going 16-2-1 and winning Coach of the Year Honors. The Bruins were looking forward to a successful run in the state playoffs until Covid-19 canceled the rest of the season, and the playoffs. Following the lone season at Beaumont West Brook, Bell had the opportunity to join Klein High School. In three years he led the Bearkats to a 44-18-6 record, earning Coach of the Year honors in ’22 and a trip to the 6A Region 2 Final in 2022 which was the best finish for the Bearkats in 30 years. Coach Bell posted a 5-2 playoff record while at Klein.

Coach Bell could not be more excited to lead the Mustangs! He looks forward to continuing the winning traditions here at Kingwood, while also creating a place where all past, present and future Mustangs can call home.
